I'm trying to install Moveable Type on my mediatemple website for the past 5 hours. I got it to intall and I'm at the part where you configure the weblog settings. I specify where the main index file for the blog will be and I get the following error message:
Error making path '/var/www/html/blog': mkdir /var/www/html/blog: Permission denied at lib/MT/FileMgr/Local.pm line 105
I'm not sure if it's a permissions problem or if I'm typing the path wrong. Anyone with a (mt) acct. might be able to help me. What would be the absolute path to a folder named "blog" in the main directory of my website? It appears to be:
/var/www/html/blog/
but this also looks like it goes to the same place:
/home/solographic/html/blog/
Thanks in advance.

nevermind. it recommends an absolute path, but a relative path seems to work:
../../html/blog

You'd think salaries would be higher in a country with a national healthcare plan. That's a working poor compensation level.
