i use toast 6.
click on the copy disc tab.
pop-in you original dvd.
press the red button on the bottom right.
wait.
pop-in a writeable dvd after it asks you to.
repeat process

why not use Disk Utility built into the OS?
makes a direct image of the disk that is flawless.

how does one go about using the disk utility?

ah, thank you very much madrish. helpful indeed.
now, the example it gives it for a data disc. does it have the same outcome for a video DVD?

just insert and try it..... um, with a disk...... with a "K"
it won't hurt, honest.

isnt 'disk' meant for local 'hard disk' and 'floppy disk'?
but, since a dvd or a cd is spherical, it becomes a 'disc'. like a frisby is a 'disc'.
