you can get a job in starbucks part time and work 5 hours a week and receive a full benefit package of all health benefits and life and dental insurances.
starbucks is like #7 in the fortune 500.

I haven't had health insurance for 2 years! FUN FUN!!!
There are options out there but its tough to qualify for some of them. I happen to perfectly land in the middle of everything so that I can't cover my own health insurance out of pocket yet I make to much to qualify for assisted health insurance. Its brilliant!

Man, just get it somehow.
Our bass player had none, crashed on his bicycle, messed his face up, fractured his left wrist...
Emergency room visit ends up costing him a little over $2,000, and he only waits tables.
Rough.

What does that cover? Do you have a link to a description?

$50......seriously???? You need to send me a link or something because I just went onto Blue Cross's site and got a quote and the lowest I could find was for $250 a month.

enter your zip, choose Blue Shield if its offered to you. I got qoutes from $36 and up. Might be different for you.

I was searching a couple years ago and found sites that have side by side comparisons. Single person insurance can be pretty inexpensive. I found plans for around $80. I'll post the links if I find them.

(Dec 12 05, 10:47)its called PPO 1000. i have this plan. its for ER only, no doctor visits or anything else. you pay that out of your pocket. if you dont [plan to] get sick much, this is better than having nothing.
