"- preferably ones focusing on bright, bold new school work?"
hahaha... he won't find that with booth.
- algorithm0
i know, totally sent him down a different path. hehehe

sheesh it really seems like maybe my options are limited here and I had it better in milwaukee/chicago than I realized: some amazing ground-breaking artists doing new stuff there and so far I get an inappropriate lead with a _really_ loud annoying site :)
- algorithm0
yeah, his site is jacked up. I don't know why he did that. THe old one was fine.
If you ever get a chance, ( i know their work is not what your looking for) stop into their studio. It will make you want your mommy.

last photo i saw of booth he was starting to look like the creatures he illustrates.
hope you're doing well, by the way, algorithm.
nokati: the only other nyc artist i'm familiar with is "seen", but he's since retired. maybe look into whoever took over his shop.

Sry. No help on the NYC shops but i'm looking for an artist in Chicago to do some work. Do you have any suggestions.

yeah - its a bummer cuz James Kern used to be in chicago and his work is astounding (http://www.tattoomonster.com/) now hes only there once in awhile is the word.

I don't have any ink yet but always wanted to have Guy Aitchison do some work on me. Not sure but I think he's based out of Chicago...

how is that place in LES with the art gallery in the front, its located directly across the street from The Reed Space. you have to walk down a few steps to get to it and there is that young sexy receptionist working there who wears real skimpy outfits.
an A+ just for that!

eveything is cool over here, thanks.
About to start on a new back piece here soon, but I have to fly back to Atl. to get it done.how are you doing?

in nyc a real good guy is Chris O'Donnell. He tats at New York Adorned Downtown. He is real good, has done a bunch of my pieces, finishing up my sleeve in 2 weeks (woohoo). I think his site is www.codnyc.com.

There's a place called Flyright in Williamsburg that supposed to be the best.

i'm doing really well. actually getting a bit ichy for some new work myself, though i'm probably a year or so out from it.
good luck with that back piece. you have anything drawn you feel like sharing with the rest of the class?
- algorithm0
its similar to this cover. The actuall piece is deeper in the book, it has a little more blues in it.

It will take up half of my back and flow over my shoulder to mix with the shoulder caps. Should be fun, alot less pain than my others.

I've been wanting to go under the needle again a lot lately, too. Must be something in the water. :D
- algorithm0
yup, get them done before spring and summer.

i just don't know how much i want to deal with the itching during snowy weather. Just sounds more unpleasant that an early spring itch.
- blaw0
that's really cool. thanks for the link.
i hear ya, mayo. all this clear skin just lying in wait... :)
- mayo0
hahahhaa that's it blaw.
I'm trying to think of something that will tie mine all together, but delicate at the same time. I don't know.
