(Jul 9 06, 12:56)I was chanting Baggio at the bar I was at, where I was seemingly the only Les Bleus supporter (vocally at least) once the game was decided to go to PKs.
My buddy called from the game to say how bullshit the call with Zidane was as the refs were looking at the screens throughout the stadium on replay, not one of them saw it initially.
No Italias would stand behind their team enough to bet on them that were present. Though I did meet an older gentleman from Italy who said he admired my hatred and ability to mask it with humour.
I tried my hardest to make the game almost unwatchable for them, and ripped my shirt off the second I saw Italia was wearing their bleu.
I barely have a voice left.
Good Cup, horrible ending.
