I'd rather wait for the 2nd generation G5 PB's to come out. The 1st run will always have problems!!!

I hope they bring back the clam shell shape design but for the powerbook. An aluminum clam shell....tasty.

Maybe even a matt black!?!
- chimchim0
you mean... Intel powered powerbook. There will never be a G5 powerbook.

Always wait until the 3rd generation!

How about a 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'TM style identity parade...
is it number one, G5 Powerbook
is it number two, G Unit
is it number three, G3 rise of the machines
is it number four, Bee Gee
or
is it number five, whogivesafuck

If that happens I might just have to kill someone.

There is no way I would buy a Mac Intel powerbook. It would just be a nightmare of pain. Leave it a year, at least.
Ands the worst part of it all is, there a no native app for Mac intel, and will not be for at least a year 2007.

Don't kid yourself. There will eventually be a G5 PB or they'll just stop making them.
Don't you think the switch to Intel is based on the problems they had making a G5 PB?

17" PB, 1Ghz, 1Gb RAM for $1,724 or should I wait for the new PB w/ intel? Hmm...
