anyone know what the difference between the wide hypen and the small hypen is??
- < that and a longer one. and how you get it or detect it??

its an em dash compared to an en dash

hyphen, en dash and em dash are all separate:
hyphen = -
en dash = alt+ctrl+shift+-
em dash = alt+ctrl+shift++at least in quark anyway. i think.
