Ok so I'm used to using flash to make presentations, websites, and more recently CD-Roms, but I now have a new project which requires a flash made CD-Rom with navigation and links that load external files: namely PDF docs.
The PDF's will be on the CD so just wondering how you get flash to launch them when the links are clicked on. Of course I want them to open up in Acrobat.
Thanks for any help in advance!!

If it's a lot of documents I'd recommend getting MDM studio or Flash Jester, if it's just a few, there's some methods for using the fscommand folder technique found in many of the flash forums (flashkit etc.)

do they have to be pdfs? You might check out Flash paper from Macromedia.

use FreeMX - google search
to put .pdf files in a fscommand folder and have flash launch acrobat - I used this for a Caterpillar CDROM.

Thanks Pray, this looks good. Cheers to everyone for the help.
Any other suggestions welcomed, I'll only be starting on that part of the project at the end of the week. Thanks again, I love PVN!! I love you all!!
