Richie Hawtin released his latest installment in the DE9 series.
Highly recommended, and the album is a double disc release, 1 slimmed down mix, and then 1 dvd with bonus footage and 96 minute 5.1 audio mix.

Great release! - although not as ground breaking as the last DE9 which was created prior to Ableton.
The 12" single is good too with Twin Cities.
Good to see another techno fan around here!

Yeah i hear you fore sure, but I have definitely enjoyed this one very much. I find the previous DE9 extremely good to listen to while I am working, I fell productive everytime I put on that mix.
I have a lot of respect for the guy too, releasing the cd with the slimmed down mix and full mix in mp3 for people who want it for their mp3 players as well as the full experience on dvd.
I have no problem paying for music when they include lots of good stuff like this :)

ooh, cool - thanks for the heads-up... I just hope it's better than Closer To The Edit, which was a little disappointing.

Awesome album, the video recording from his performance in Mannheim is f**kin incredible, and I'm seeing him on New Year's Day! Woo!

Wicked, ive always wanted to see hawtin live.
Closer to the edit was awesome more me, good mix of ambience and beats.
Tunnel is amazing, that is definitely one of my favs.
The interview on the dvd is quite interesting too, just listening to the 5.1 version for the first time now.
