Has anybody else seen this documentary? I watched it last night, and while not a masterpiece or a must-see, it is quite intriguing, especially for those who are cinephiles like me, who love the history of Hollywood, American indie films and obscure foreign classics. It's also a disturbing examination of that blurry line between genius and insanity, a paradox at the heart of my fascination with art. Anyway, just a recommendation for those who wander the aisles of their local video store, frustrated at the lack of new inspiration. It won't change your life, but it is interesting.

btw, if you need further evidence for why Quentin Tarantino is an annoying (but talented) coke head, look no further than his interview in the film. Also, it's kind of fascinating to hear how The "Decline of Western Civilization" was financed by two businessmen from the Valley who wanted to make a porn movie but got hustled into making a film about punk rock.
