I recently bought for the first time music from the Apple Store but i cannot transfer the songs to my Mp3 player (the files are in Mp4 format). But it is possible only if you have an Ipod? There some converter around? Thank's and have a nice day ...

click advanced-convert to mp3 or something else. go to preferences to change the filetype

The files are protected and cannot be converted .. It seems that if you don't have an Ipod you can only burn a CD or try to crack the songs ...

well, then burn the CD and it will make .aiff files, then import the files from the CD and convert to .mp3
done and done.

Use a program called audio hyjack to convert the songs, derek2005 told me about it a while ago. I don't have the link anymore. This means you dinae need to burn a cd.

You can use HYMN
http://hymn-project.org/
if you have iTunes 6 it wont work..
so you have to wait until hymn updates to work with v6
