It got mixed reviews, but mostly negative ones.
Apparently folks aren't too into the 8-Mile-esque films nowadays, since they've been overdone. Maybe they got tired after Hustle and Flow? I saw 8 Mile b/c my friends made me. It wasn't too impressive, but it wasn't absolutely horrible either.
People are more interested in Eminem because he's one of the most successful white rappers. With 50, however, ppl may just get bored.
