ohh, i gotcha. I ddin't mean theres nothing to do here. There is tons. If you are into surfing, biking, skating. Just being outdoors in general. I generally dislike living in cities.
I was referring to having to be in the city all the time. Finding the cool hip new places to hang and go. Gets old fast and takes away from more important things you could be accomplishing.

oh, i didn't write anything after the paste, lol...
what i thought i said was, at some point i could see my self in that place, and in fact i kinda was there a couple of years ago, but i'm pretty much bored here and totally hate my job and it seems like most offers i get cannot touch my salary history, or my current salary.

I grew up in LA, but lived in SF for 12 years. Since i've been back to LA for the last year or so, the only things i miss from SF are my favorite bars, and my friends there. I also miss the public transit.
LA seems has more of the kinds of jobs i want, nicer weather and a equal or better music scene. so its a fair trade for me i think.
it all boils down to what you;re in the mood for. and they're close enough that you can always visit.
