What do people generally wear to ad agency interviews?
- canuck0
3 piece suit. Nothing less.
- gruntt0
suit jacket and pants, tie - no shirt.

what about assless cowboy chaps? becuase I have a really cool pair and I think it would speak for both my aesthetic and my individuality?
c'mon, seriously...what am I supposed to wear to this interview?
- canuck0
Just wear a shirt and tie. Dress up. It's better to be over dressed, than under dressed. Show that you want the job. People make a judgement call about you in like the first 30 seconds. You may aswell look legit.
Don't wear jeans. Tuck in your shirt. Shave. Shine those shoes. Done.

Uhm.. I never wear anything to interviews that I dont wear in my everyday life. I usually turn up in a tshirt and ripped jeans and it has worked for me so far. If youre a project manager then ofcourse you should wear something more "serious". Otherwise I would just be myself..

Show up like you're ready to work. Dress like the best-dressed person there.

this has been discussed to death here.
don't lose an opportunity because you like wearing torn up clothes.

If I was the one hiring people. I would definately not hire a designer wearing a suit or a tie unless he has proof that he is really good (I dont know any really good designers who wears that anyway). A suit just doesnt say "creative" to me. I am not saying you should look like somebody who works at MTV but just be yourself.

Do not be afraid too wear a suit. Put in the effort. It will show.
Do not wear what you would wear every day too work because you have not got the job yet.
