anyone know who did the branding / graphics etc... on the new windows commercials?
those ones where there is all sorts of crazy graphics spriling around on the white bg ... usually there is 1 person and the end tagline is "all this software blah blah, that runs on a windows platform"
sorry i cant be more descriptive
if you go to: http://www.windows.com/Passion/i… and click on the people, you'll kinda see what i'm talking about

did you guys use windos machines for the spots?
- Carty0
pepe.. what machines did you do this project with? it just about made windows cool.

pcs of course! :) there was a considerable amount of cell animation in a good part of the spots, which is pen and paper and a scanner... bringin it back. glad everyone liked em.

i love the start something ads are you guys also responsiable with coming up with the actual "start something" slogan or just the graphics/animations/concepts.
who came up with "start something" slogan it made me like the word start on the start button ... but i still hope the word start is removed in vista:)they are prob my favourite commercials.
- pepe0
start something was a slogan the genius folk at mcCann Erricson on San fran developped, we simply collaborated on the visuals.

love them spots too pepe.

I was about to start bashing all of you...but then I decided to go check the site and the spots, and luckily it was different ones than the ones I was thinking of. There is a set of very similar print ads, but they are sooo bad! They look horribly cheap, the people in them are not photogenic at all, they consist of a bad photo and some shitty graphics flying around the person.
The spots on stardust are sick though!

pepe, i referred startdust to a group who is looking for an animation studio today. you guys were the first to come to my head, but i don't know if you do the kind of work she's looking for. i just know it's damn good.
anyway, keep an ear out for a call.
