Anybody know of a good place that makes good portfolios and cases?
I know of and like Lost Luggage but their prices are steep.

There was another thread on this last week. Search for it.

nice, thanks!
- btw, I got mine through Charrette....they don't have anything super fancy crazy but it works for people who are broke and have a budget of $125 or under.

I cant remember the last time ive looked through a physical portfolio. All websites pretty much now.. and if we see something we like on the website, we will call them in and then sometimes they bring a portfolio.

Anyone have links to any handmade portfolios? I remember seeing one someone made a long time ago where the pages are screwed in and it had a metal cover.

Ya, I agree but when I get called in I'm always told to bring in my physical portfolio. I think that when you are focused in print people want to see the actual printed pieces and not just view them online. If you are just a web designer then I can see how you wouldn't need to bring a physical portfolio.

all that matters is what inside.
I would rather view a portfolio wrapped in seaweed and clams if the work was awesome, than a nice portfolio with so so work.

Where can I get one of those seaweed books at?

seaweed and clams, that was funny.

It would be funny to drop your portfolio on an art directors desk that is dripping all over the desk covered in seaweed and clams.
