Settlement papers are here:
http://www.netflix.com/Settlemen…Basically you need to be a member since 1/15/05. The settlement entitles you to a free month, due Netflix failing to provide "unlimited" DVD rentals and "one-day delivery" of DVDs to your home.
Although Netflix denies any wrongdoing...
I'll let you decide for yourself..

Gotcha, just making sure it wasn't a skam, since they ask you to log-in..

Hahaha.....I've been saying for a couple years now to my girlfriend that they don't let you rent UNLIMITED DVDs......its only 3 out at a time, so that isn't unlimited. What if I want to rent 734 at one time? That would be unlimited.

this was about the throttling netflix does that prevents people from getting more than a certain amount of dvd's per month. basically they intentionally slow down their shipping/processing time to limit the actual monthly rentals to no more than 9-12 discs

I have two teenagers, one of which wants to be a filmaker. I know for sure we've received upwards of 18 discs a month easily. My wife would KILL me if we didn't get Netflix.

I usually get around 18 - 20 a month, cause I watch it and send it out the nect day.
