Our design group is moving into a new space. We're being given near carte blanche to redo our space (since we're b****ing about it all day) and my fellow designers are designing.....more cubicles.
Sigh.
Anyone have any inspiring photographs of cool offices to show these knuckleheads? I've gone through old mags, furniture sites, etc. and can't come up with what I've got in my head.
TIA.

do you prefer open space (to communicate easily with your fellow designers) or more privacy?
do you have some info on architecture/style of the new building? modern? brick? classic office style?

Open space. Whatever it takes to get away from the cubicle/administrative look & feel we've got going now.
The building is your basic office building. Understood it'd be pretty lame doing something completely out of context.
Thx.

i do not mind cubes.. as long as they are not the generic kind.
as much as open office is nice and you can communicate with other people and such, will everyone on the phone and running around i find it hard to concentrate on my work.
