"crock of shite - jeremy jones isnt even in it and as far as I am concerned he is the ONLY big mountain rider
jevad
(Oct 28 05, 13:43)"the man has some serious skills... but ONLY big mountain rider?... come on.
I can come up with a few more if you'd like.

Tangerine Dream was ok...too much skiing

Rippey is for sure one guy who just kind of went away. Similar to Brushie who also just went away.
My big mountain vote goes to Brian Savard who was a inspiration in my riding when I was younger when he used to live on the island. Now he is back and raising his family in the Comox Valley where im from.
It would be fun to post some old pics. I dont have any at my house but ill try to track some down.

"Remember when Nic Perata did that rock tumble in Critical Condition? I love watching those old movies.
I still have Snowboarders in Exile if anyone wants to borrow it?

(Oct 28 05, 13:52)"how about the time he pretty much almost snapped in half nailing that tree... i believe it was in Pocahontas.

hmm i had read the new MDP was more rounded than previous. The last few I've seen have been far too rail based for me - had heard this one was better...

Looking forward to getting the new David Benedek film, 91 Words, if it's anywhere near as goood as the previous Robot Food films I'll be well happy.
- doddster0
Yeah thats a defo on my list too, was a bit gutted at no Robot Food film this year.

It's free with Whitelines mag this December, and the Nov issue has Pop (last year's Absinthe film). Beats paying £20!

Rippey as well... although I never liked his style, he def charged.
I rode with Savard on Whistler once when he was on their freeride team... great guy.

aside from first descent what is the best snowboard movie of the year in your opinion. i've heard a lot of talk about Futureproof. TGR's Tangerine Dream is coming to Seattle next week--I'll be at that.
