in my efforts to learn PS to a basic standard,
i have a bitmap image with some text, i want to be able to put an outline around the text by using the "magic wand" to select it - what now? hehe
the closest thing i have found is some filter thingy called brush strokes ยป ink outlines, but its poop to the highest degree

yeah, i think i could do it all day :)
how would i put a border on text that i created in PS rather than a bitmap?

If it is not a style of font, then you would have to layer> type>rasterise type then do the whole edit> stroke again.
Do you love me please?
