Here is my current top five:
1.) Raging Bull (You didn't have to come to Cleveland to get beat by a "moulan yan.")
2.) Dead Man (Jim Jarmusch, Johnny Depp as a fake William Blake, and a beautiful electric guitar score by Neil Young)
3.) Down by Law--also a Jarmusch film, with Tom Waits and Robert Benigni
4.) Clerks (37 dicks!?!)
5. The Killing (Kubrick)--which inspired Reservoir Dogs, and Truffaut'S 400 Blows.

"Stand Inside Your Love" music video by the Smashing Pumpkins! It's based on Oscar Wilde's "Salome" and Aubrey Beardsley's artwork!!! worth an honorable mention at least.
