free fonts for print

I'm sure this has been asked and covered over and over...
I'm starting a publication, and since I am a start up, money is TIGHT. Is there a site or resource where I can find publishable fonts? My mag won't be big to start...only about a 15K run...and as we grow we'll buy fonts, but to start I could really use some free ones.
As for fonts I already have...I can't just print those, can I? I have a ton from some random CD, but I'm guessing those aren't legal to print.
Any help would be grately appreciated.

Fonts are licensed per user/computer (like software), not per use. So if you have fonts that came bundled with your OS or software that you purchased you are licensed to use them for print.
Unfortunately a lot of the fonts that are bundled are crap. And a lot of the free fonts are crap. Here are most of the rare decent freebies:
