I expected the packaging to be a liitle more exciting... Maybe 5 or 6 color with some foil treatment or an O_ring on silver substrate but it looks like a standard alpha sleeve with a slipcase to accomadate the comic book... while buying it i did see this which no one is talking about:

what i dont understand is, why the f*ck would they release this separate from the box set? (which is also being promoted right now)
- aka0
Because its the prequel i guess, and they are making a sequel to that film, which I guess will conflict with the original film.
make perfect sense doesn't it ...

I am sure they wouldn't put Batman Begins in the box set as to avoid ANY association with those previous movies.
The whole goal of the Begins project from Day 1 was to restart the franchise and go a whole new direction (THANK YOU).
As far as they're concerned, that old franchise ended and this is the start of something new.

I bought my copy yesterday! It was actually hard to find one without the special package, which included another DVD with two cartoon Batman episodes. I didn't want that, so I looked around and found a single one. I'm happy with the price, but I don't see very many special features, which is a bit of a disappointment.
I've been noticing how DVD's are coming out sooner and sooner now, and usually it compromises the special features. This is all because people can't seem to wait for things anymore.
I know Battlestar Galactica is releasing the first part of season 2 on DVD first, and then the rest after the second half actually airs. It's getting quite ridiculous, and it's another way for these companies to get more money.
But I AM looking forward to having Serenity this Christmas
