Feedback from any of you skilled creative types would be appreciated. I'd like to consider myself a Jr. Web Designer? What do you think? Thanks.

layout is all right, a tad boring. the blip of text near the bottom about you is spanned across too wide of a space to read, really.
colors are bland. add some flare! 15 pieces minimum!

did you get to meet marlin perkins. I used to love that show, esp. when he would send jim in to rassle some croc or whatever

Awesome, thank you so much doesnot exist! I agree with everything you said and will work on those changes tonight..
I never met Marlin, he's dead..but i met Jim Fowler...it wasn't exciting.

I agree try to spice it up a little so you stand out from "the crowd".

the striped background and logo treatment makes me think that you are an illustrator. The use of the same CSS font for everything, and I mean everything, makes me think I'm on Google.
Your navigation isn't the easiest thing to find. I'd put it on top of the gray logobar.
I really do not like the fact that there is a scrollbar for all of your portfolio pieces. Choose your VERY best 10 or 12 and showcase those. Kill the scrollbar for the 'featured projects' section too OR extend that cell down so you don't need one.
Add some more color to this badboy. Are you sad?
The fonts u are using for your 'logo' are all jacked up. Fix the kerning too.
Kill the dashed lines.
Resume- Why not add it into your design instead of making it a Word doc? And add a separate link to download that Word doc. word.
In the paragraphs that say what 'technologies' were used (ie. Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc). Should that say 'software'?
It says u know Flash. Showcase your skillz.

you need to work on the followng:
grid
type
spacing and margins
colour
- kyl30
Did you rassle with jim? That might have spiced up the event.
- oopsbrokemyhip0
Awesome, thanks guys/gals...I really appreciate the feedback...keep it coming!

get some grid action in there, for sure. get with some of your peers to narrow your sites down to only the best. like someone else has already said and i am concuring on.

lose the iframes
- dibec0
i was thinking the same (iframes) ... so 98. =P
it works nice to load your pages. you can always do "new windows as well". you do some nice work pal.
ps. we are all assholes.
- oopsbrokemyhip0
haha...thanks dibec!
- dibec0
nice. haha.
- oopsbrokemyhip0
oh man, you rule! thank you so much!

The homepage certainly needs more impact. Consider maybe featuring one of the case studies over the others so there is a clear dominant element for the user to focus on.

Another thing - the outline around the images looks a little amateurish, like you forgot to set border to 0. Also not sure if the red link color is doing you any favors.

hey herb!
