suits are for skinny dudes. I'll rock the t-shirt, shorts and flip flops til I die.

Check Banana Republic for the affordable category.
I meant to buy one before summer but forgot to. Their suits are top notch, seriously.
If I had to go get one tomorrow, my top choice would be Kenneth Cole, then Hugo Boss, then Calvin Klein, then I'd be scanning pages in GQ or Details for all the really hot stuff I could never afford.

Armani is living off old prestige, they're really quite ugly and none of my friends (in every kind of body shape) look good in one.
Get a Hugo Boss or Corneliani.

honestly, spend some money, and you'll look much better.
go to fancy department store, and see what they have. make sure the suit fits you the way you want it to.
and please...PLEASE...get the pleats taken out of the pants!

mens' wearhouse (really) - and every man needs 2 suits. a Dark Grey or blue one for funerals and court. Non-blue/grey for weddings, parties, etc.

Hugo Boss makes a damn fine suit, but so does Armani and Roberto Cavalli.
if you want something mid-level go with Claiborne or Ralph Lauren

hugo boss at harry rosen
if you want a good suit...spend some money. every man should own at least one good wool suit.
get either a rosalini or einstein cut
or...if you are feeling really crazy go and get something from armani collezioni, but be prepared to spend probably 2 to 3 times what you would pay for the boss suit :P

Can anyone recommend where to start looking? Designers? Something affordable, not extravagant.
