Hey all... I have some training $$ available to me and want to take some good courses.
Do any of you have any recommendations for graphic design (typography, grid systems) and web development (.asp, high level CSS) courses at an advanced/expert level?
Recommendations of good schools also welcome.
Must be in Toronto.

seriously, if you have money for design courses, i would suggest traveling instead. it will make you a much better designer than a courses. you can find design rules and styles in books easily, but you won't always have the opportunity to travel and see how design is expressed in other cities around the world...
i would reccomend, berlin, munich, amsterdamn, rotterdamn, paris, morocco, japan, mexico and the like...

I wish I could do that... this is money that my employer grants for training. I can 5-7 days off work to take a certain $ amount of training.... I get this each year.
I want to make the best use of this benefit.
I will have to do the travelling on my own dime and time.

I work for govt. I need to find something, in town, acredited.
I have a list of computer courses they provided to me. I am going to take .asp and a database course. Just want to round it out with some design.. been a long time since I was in Art School and I miss it!
As far as I can tell OCAD has no part-time courses (they used to, cause I went there) do they no longer offer them? ... am I wrong?
Again, I'm looking at Humber... any feedback for me?
