I've just in the process of launching an online tee store at http://www.generichype.co.uk. just wanted some opinions on the price I am thing of selling at which is £25 per tee. I know for the international market this will be really expensive but comments from uk based people would be good. Also be good to get some feedback on the site. cheers

£25?! That is WAY too high.

better have diamonds or rims for that price

don't take this the wrong way but hahhahha what are you smoking chief?
Threadless, more variety, cool designs and are $15 USD where you're are close to $50 USD. I think I'll take 3 of theirs, which is less than one of yours. but then again you're in the UK.

try again :)

You know what I really think.
Dont come on here asking opinions for a price when its high. You will only get slagged on here for asking.
Make a killer website and some killer t-shirts and sell them for 100$.
Just have serious confidence in your product and people (rich ones) will follow.
YOU NEED CONFIDENCE!Go big or go home - just remember to land the trick or get fucking hurt doing it.

I was thinking maybe £20. but then again they are limited and have a lot of overheads and if you go to any high st store your going to pay around £25-30 for a sh!te commercial tee. what price you people think (uk market)
- sherman0
sell the shirt for what you want to but quit asking people - your only going to piss em off.
$25 us maybe
Remember - make good shit and the people will follow

Dude, I don't know where you shop, but I would never pay over £15 for a tee, even that is pushing it.
Sure its hard starting up a tee shirt design / printing business, but unless you get the prices right, you're just going to get blown out of the water by the competition, just giving you the truth buddy.

I'm sorry sherman, but I did say that to the international market they are going to be way expensive.

way too expensive for any market

i dont want to sound like an asshoe.
its just that ive done it for years with a bike clothing company and you have to be competitive.

the tee shirt market, or at least the online designer tee market is pretty much cornered by threadless, whose prices pretty much pwn you. dont get me wrong you have some nice designs and i'm sure you produce them to a high standard, but people are looking at prices, and yours are too high.

I personal think that the threadless designs are getting worse. When it first started you could et some well nice stuff.

(Sep 7 05, 11:36)so you're saying you sell High Street quality shhirts?
UK 7.5 pounds
- Iamhype0
Yeah, I'm saying the tee quality is as good as high st, and would like to think the designs are more original.
- JazX0
ok, but you need to reduce that price like pronto, don't be surprised by very few sales

Online / London based http://www.stereohype.com sell tees ranging from £15 - £30
- imakedesign0
max price should be £15 would never pay more than this.. hell i can buy tees from the states with postage cheaper than that...
i would buy those designs on a hoodie for £25

25 per tee is alot even for the international market. 15 or 20 per tee is more reaonable and you still make some money. If you keep it low it wont seem like some flash hipster brand.
seen?

Sale price tees are £14 at UK based http://www.hypestore.net
