first of all our hearts are with the people in New Orleans.
guys I'd really appreciate opinions about using Max/Msp and Jitter on PC compared to Mac. The thing is I need to buy a computer since my school begins next week, I was using all the way pc back at home, but I couldn"t bring a dekstop pc to here, NY.
I know apple converts to intel 2 years later so buying a pwerbook right now seems a little bit bad decision, but I dont want to be one of those, ok I ll wait for the next generation with a white beard and I still know Max/Msp is built originally for Macs, so it will run faster on macs(or is this a rumour).
see I am so confused. I dont want to buy a pc laptop, I hate windows, but I dont want to spend 2500 bucks on a powerbook that is I cannot sell for 500 next year.
any comments?
