"Rome is going to be mediocre, at best."

I dig it. I really do, especially the paganistic rituals they do with blood. I like it and the history behind it. I've always been fascinated with their symbols and if I were to get a tattoo it would be of some ancient Roman god. Have no idea why....?

"heeeheehee" says the dank.

I like ANY show HBO makes..
This one is no different, it is good TV
- JazX0
I agree, it's well done, scenery is good and the actors are not bad
- JazX0
the scene where Lucius Vorenus is brought out of retirement and made a Evocati is surreal.
Well shot!
A+

this is the first joint-production between HBO and the BBC -
a British cast, together with an American production team is a force to be reckoned with ;)ive been following since first episode and;
(spoils below!!)
--Atia is the queen bitch!
--Octavious is a little p*ssy!
--Niobe is a SUPER hotty!
--Mark Antony seems like a real dark ass character, i'm glad hes stickin with his boy Julius Ceasarand,
--cant wait until next episode!!

I screw Octavia in my dreams and Octavian is a homosexual
- fadeproof0
yeah my bad -
Octavian is a little dork - i hope Pullo ends up making a dude out of him, what with fighting lessons and a trip to the brothel ;)
- JazX0
Pullo has a kind heart and he helped that beautiful slave girl. He should have kept the GOLD!!
- Geith0
Too bad all the actors are Brits. Someday, we'll have Italians playing Romans.
- JazX0
hahaha Geith, I was waiting for someone that say that, there is like one American actor in this show. I guess it's the intelligent sound of the British accent.
Obviously, they are trying to sell this to Americans.

JazX i know what u sayin -
whenever the age of Antiquity is portrayed, its always those dam Brits ;)i'm wondering though, would American actors have the same effect in Britain?
(somehow i think not ;) )
- JazX0
only because movies like Gladiator, etc. have been drilled into our heads and makes us think this is what represents that genre.
Although, Jaoquin Phoenix was great in Gladiator.
"I'm vexed, so terribely vexed."
Spartacus wasn't
hahaa
- fadeproof0
now Gladiator is def. a respected film - Commudus (Mr Pheonix) made me laugh -
def. quality -the really really sad thing is that ive heard from diff. places that a sequel might be made? as much as i thiknk Juba is cool as hell, its just gonna cheapen the original Gladiator faster than u ca m say 'vexed'
- JazX0
I'll never see it.
Jupiter, destroy those people!
Tear out their lungs, their livers, their eyes, their private parts...
hehehe ;)
