I bought these Wolfgang Puck self heating latte cans for a camping trip last weekend.
I thought it would be easier than my traditional camping French press.
It didn't taste that bad but only heated up to luke warm at best in the same time my friends were able to boil, steep, and press their coffee.
Plus I had to pack the can huge cans out!Has anyone else used these.

they've been around for a few months now, you're the first person i've heard directly tried one.
dunno if that says something or not :)

I should have know it was going to be shite. His premade soups almost made me throw up!
The packaging is shite too. What's up with the coffee bean eyeball?

My mom actually bought these, although she didn't realize the can was self heating. So she put it in the microwave, turned it on, and sparks starting flying. (Unfortunately, I don't live at home, so I didn't witness this myself) The microwave was out of commission for about 2 weeks.
And apparently the coffee was pretty crappy.
I'll stick to the Coffee Bean. Ever try the Black Forest Ice Blended?

anything that quick is sure to be shit. Better off bringing the french press.
Products like this are the bain of consumerism.

that wolfgang puck guy seems nice enough but i think if i was with him for more than 1/2 an hour i would have to sever his voice box with a sharpened stone.

I just drink beer and whiskey when I camp, no heating involved.

My girl friend poured 1/2 the whiskey for my nalgene bottle in my dogs dish thinking it was just water!!

Chinois maybe? I think he's got a couple out here. Also, something about camping and latté just doesn't go together.
