Photoshop Textures in Illustrator

  I am working on some business cards in Illustrator, I am one Pantone Color throughout (with tints), now I want to bring some background textures in the form of images.

  I don't want to add any additional colour to the cards, I just want to underlay the background colour with the textures from the image.

  If I do this, will the printer class this as full colour, should I overlay the image with the Pantone background colour in Photoshop and then import into Illustrator?
