im a bit confused, im making a print ad that will be on the backof a trailer, its dimensions will be 5 foot by 2 foot. so in PS, i made my document half that size at 400 DPI. i need ot save this in EPS format, but im confused on what options to choose?
should i have proof CMYK checked? what color space? ASCII85 encoding?
i have vector imagery in it as well.

CMYK yes.
binary encode usually.

what about filesize. should i be expecting a fs > than 2gb for a 2.5 foot x 1 foot doc?

when I have done large stuff for exhibitions etc the printers are usually happy reproducing from files 300dpi, and at 25% of the actual printed size. ask the printer what they expect to receive, always the safe option.
