I've NEVER worked with frames before.
I have a centered layout like this:
header
nav + content
footer
client wants me to turn that into 3 frames:
top
nav --> content.anyone got an idea how to do this?
or if you wanna make a few quick bux, email me

I mean no dis-respect, but I'm hoping that when I ask my mechanic to change th oil in my car, that he doesn't ask his mates "can someone tell me how to do an oil change".
:) Plenty of tutorials on the net on how frames work - probably give you clearer help than a small post here.

if you have dreamweaver you can easily make frame makeing a frameset document.
file > new > category framset
:)
don't think many people use frames though anymore. I haven't in ages and I dont see many sites with them anymore.

While this window is in front, View Source. That's most of your answer.

love the mechanic reference.
good one.
but if your mechanic doesn't work on your model then you'd want him to ask friends.
I appreciate the advice though.
this is business though, so the job needs to get done somehow.... by me, a freelancer, somehow.
i figured out how to do frames, its not that hard, but i suppose the layout I had for the site won't work with frames...
just the way its layed out.
basically a centered 700 px area.
i'll keep at it.
thanks for the help.
