I was thinking "Damn, $ 1,999.99/or $50 a month sounds expensive" but damn I spent a couple hundred on a Dalmatian, another couple hundred on replacing shoes, couches, yards....a few thousand on vet bills and food an he's only 8 years old!
Now that robo dog doesn't sound that expensive at all!

well i just called my dad and not including food he has spent about $5500 in the past 8 years on our rottweiller, according to the database he has of the vet records
the vet told him dogs avg about $500/ year of life
the sony dog is looking better and better
no bathes, no kennels, no pee/poop, no destruction

dbloc, i'm with ya, its just what i read, i just hope the day care lasts as long as puppyhood though. Our dog tears up nothing and knows to guard the house, that's why we have her.
