my dad retired about a year ago and since then he doesn't have a steady source of income. a few weeks ago my parents are expects me to lease the house i'm living in to help them out.
on top of that, i just got news that my mom has a heart condition. and now i might have to break my savings in case my mom needs an operation.
further more, the situation with my gf is up to a point where the best thing to do is stop seeing each other.
arrgh. all these thing coming at me from all different direction really taking its toll on me.
so today i completely lost it at the office. i said the hell to all this and just left without saying anything to anybody. the office called me and i didn't pick up cos i always have the ringtone on silent.
i think i'm getting fired. i'm screwed

Rob a bank on the way home, steal millions from the vaults and hit on some of the cute bank tellers whilst you make your escape.

call your office dude and explain the situation to your boss

sorry to hear that man, best luck to you.
just keep at it !

I hate cliches, but when it rains it pours.
Seems like the last thing that you need is to lose your job. Explain to them your situation and they will understand. Actually, a lot of places offer a temporary leave of absence, fully paid. Might help you clear your head. If they don't, then quit...

sorry to hear that.

first things first! please don't sabotage yourself. call the office and have a chat with your md. don't make things worse than they are. chin up, luv. when troubles come they come not single spies. best of luck.

yes definitely call the office
they will understand but if you don't tell them than in a way you can't blame them if they fire you and you don't need to be out of a job on top of everything.

Get a leave of absence from your job & take a break from things for a few days, and evaluate.
Goodluck.

Thoughts are with you man. I know what it's like. This is usually how it works - everything hits at once.
Remember if you come out looking like a dirty rose smelling of sweat and despreration, that means you did alright - better than most.
Rock it...

call office. take a few days off. go to park. think. relax.

get a hold of yourself. go back and talk with your boss and explain what happened and/or make a lamme excuse 'my cat died and i had to go'.
just get a grip on yourself. i had to pay my dad's heart cirgury about 2 years ago and at the same time i broke up with my girlfriend. 2 months later i left my job. spent on year trying to find myself. and do you know what? i've been always here. i'm working now, been to a lot of trouble (again) in the last month, but i'm still here.
just try to stop and breathe in. just take care of things as they come and don't spend every minute thinking about them. it doesn't get you anywhere.
try to get a grip on your worst thoughts. and try to take one thing at a time, even if it seems that everything is coming at the same time.
stay cool and RELAX. most of our life is utter shit. so when you get a good moment, you'll lear to treasure it better.

Call your boss and let him know the score (or as much of it as you want to tell him) and ask for a bit of time off. Relax. See what happens from there. Dont stress over shit that might or might not happen, just try and be prepared... good luck!

thanks for the support everyone.
i'm gonna talk to my boss tomorrow. wasn't thinking clearly this afternoon.
i probably should have a bakup plan though just in case. would like to go freelance for the time being. work at my own pace. but i'm not much of a sales person and i don't have a big network.
any suggestions?? i mean how do you approach a potential client??

Cruz, he apparently lives in Indonesia, don't think they have MediCade there.

I'm sure you won't get fired... unless of course you're an ambulance driver or something... just explain to them that you didn't know what to do... so thought the best thing was to get out of everyones way...
everyone has a blip now and then.
- cruz_azul0
yea , basically the good old Shark way .. like selling cars!
but really, What has worked for me is walking into a place that could benefit from the work I do, and present them something they will want and need ...everyone needs advertisment no matter what form it is !! U CAN DO IT!!
- Tara0
also probably not the best time to be making a big change (your job)
