I have a Quark 3.32 file that i need to open in InDesignCS and it isn't working for some reason. Tried it on multiple computers, saving copies, etc. It will open up in Quark, but that doesn't do me any good.
Any suggestions?
please and thank you

I haven't used Quark in a good 2 years-- what are your export options?
As far as i can remember, you're not going to have much luck with cross-compatibility.
Your best best is likely to try and export as a layered PDF, and see if you can;t open it from there.

are all the links corrected?
have you tried saving it to a later version of Quark?
did you try playing with the "Open" settings; ie: open a copy button on the bottom left?

hahaha, i'll have to check the export options but i don't think it will be anything useful. I may have to just redo the layout. Oh well, it's just a 32 page F-ing catalog. I've been able to open other Quark docs, no problem, but this one is being a butt.
All the links are correct, but i can't save to a later version of Quark because that's where the studio was before going to InDesign. Yes, tried playing with the open settings. the only thing it does it start to open the file before telling me there's a problem. before playing with those it was actually crashing my InDesign!
