yes we are... I am currently in Vancouver right now... and if you think the riding is good in Whistler, you should come to the shore. How is the riding in the SLC. I am going to be living there in a couple months.

I stayed in whistler for 5 month back in 2001 it was amazing....I tried mountain biking once but it was my first time ever. I was there for a snowboard trip and I found amazing to snowboard in june, ride all day with only a t-shirt on, the weather and the snow was very nice and all...
at night back at our condo we would be hot as hell so we'd lose the boots, the goggle, put a swin suit on then go swimming... great, great feelign anyway.
Whistler village was cool (tho a bit small after a while), I lived across the Gap and worked for a while for the mountain and then subway (free food yesss!) make good cash and lived large :p
aaaa Whistler...it's really...7th heaven, if you know what I mean ;)

SLC has great biking trails with decent lift accessed as well. S. Utah and the Virgin/Zion area is amazing, Ramapage type stuff as far as the eye can see.
I guess the grass is always greener on the other side you know? I'm just so pumped on BC biking, it's crazy.

actual I am pretty sure the grass is greener here. Is there good stuff around the SLC area to shuttle, freeride stuff not XC? Any places where trails can be built????

Yeah, I agree the grass is greener there because we had 700 inches of snow this year covering ours! Only kidding, the BC area IS the epi-center of the freeride scene.
We have loads of shuttled runs and some hidden sercrets in Park City but the US forest service is a real pain to work behind. There's a freeride DJ/drops park 5 minutes from the city.
If you come, email me and I'll show you around.
