I'm experimenting with halftone patterns.
here's a draft:
To obtain a pattern like ones used in the image i do the following:
- Edit the element (ex: the girl) in a separate grayscale file, do the treshold adjustment, and then filter>pixelate>halftone pattern.
I do this, cause there's a single channel to be converted in halftone patternThan copypaste the layers to the cmyk file, where i adjust colors.
I was wondering if there's a faster method to obtain similar patterns without editing in separate files.
(i also tried with filter>sketch>halftone pattern but didn't satisfy me)Thanks for any suggestions.

but i guess that in photoshop there's not a fastr way.

Create a mask on the image layer, copy the image into the alpha channel. You may need to move the channel image to align with actual image. Adjust levels of channel if necessary. Apply halftone to the alpha channel. Walla.
