am i going crazy or just having a brain fart or what ...
i have a client that i am doing a brochure for, and they are demanding i put "transparent" tinted boxes on some type on top of images ... with 4C process, how is this possible
how do similate a tint in 4C process without some printer-end trickery

also just for record, what should i watch out for with white transparencies out of InDesign - i have been warned about transparencie issues without specifics

if i overprint cmyk over cmyk i get more solid color no ...
i am second guessing every thought i am having now

i think you should use a 5th color that is a transparent ink, in italy we call it UV...
if I understood what you are asking for...
