anyone know if you may be sent home because of a tattoo? as in not get a job. I'm still not sure on this one these days...
i always wanted a tattoo on my forarm.

id say work speaks louder then ink. if its a problem i dont think its a place you would want to work anyway.

really depends on the company / social interaction of your position.
i'd say just do it. you wouldn't like to work for a company that won't hire people for having tattoos anyways.

Wear a long sleeve shirt to the interview. They can't FIRE you for having one.

im going to some school here in germany for ''salesman'' i think.

i have full sleeves and just wear long sleeves on the interview .... once yer in they can not fire you :)

wear a longsleave to interview. most creative places are lax about tattoos.
used to work for ipath shoes, the warehouse had an overwealming smell of new shoes, now when i smell a new shoe it brings me back.

ipath was the best job i ever had. i was in high school, i was working in shipping and recieving, and i wend home every day with clothes and shoes and an envelope with some doobies in it. boss would buy me all organic luches and whatnot.

i think most offices are fine with tattoos...unless you have a lot (like in the case of full sleeves), it's in a really obvious spot (like your face), or it's offensive...

where i work there is a dress code which states "no visible tattoos".
i simply wear long sleeves.

speaking of tats, does anyone know the website of that french tattoo artist who does the scratchy, grungy stuff? ive seen it on here before but cant relocate it.
