PowerPoint Ninja

So I have made a PowerPoint presentation for a client....
It will be viewed on a wide variety of monitors, at a wide variety of resolutions and aspect ratios.
I have designed it at 1024x768, but the clients are telling me that it gets "stretched" when viewed on the wide screen plasmas/lcds.
I would like it to just center on the screen at 1024x768 with a black border on the right and left sides of the screen.
Is this something I can control in PowerPoint or is it something they must do via a setting on their computer/monitor?
Any advice appreciated...
Thanks in advance.

sorry mate, you said the word "ninja"... that's like picking up the soap bar in the jail's shower: danger.
btw, i think the settings have to do with the monitor, not with ppoint. try it first.

hang on captain, I think I can hold her.
This is not a definate but i think the plasma will stretch it, so if you want to run it at 1024x768, you may end up getting black bars on either side of the screen.
So i think it does depend on the plasma settings. Howevover, I would try and get down there and have a play yourself to see if you can sort it. Also, have you got time to knock out a different version for the plasma..by leaving everything centred as a workaround?

Ivan did you fix it? All you have to do is change the resolution on the monitor, or sometimes when using digital projectors it will do that, you just FN+F7 to re-sync the screen/projector.

do not adjust your monitor resolution
Design your slides at 960x720 in Illy or PS and they will drop right in.
