Oh yeah, I almost forgot.
Carry some toilet paper or kleenex. You'll glad you did for the rest of your life.

(Jul 13 05, 10:15)budweiser??? Mexican beer is btter than that. If you do try tradeing it, you'll get your ass kicked so hard you'l need an ass transplant.
Bring a few "Caguamas" instead

Hey I agree, but for some reason it was recommended to me and it worked. So go figure. F*ck it, bring some sierra nevada.

I'm not very good at this split personality thing : (

it all sounds really good, the more you guys go on about it, the more i want to give it a go.
only problem left, the plane tickets.
the good sounding deal i found earlier today on http://www.travelocity.co.uk for around £400 to 'san jose cabo' is not available on any date i can think of.
they are total b*llsh*ters!
i've had a look on opodo and cheapflights and it's all around £600 there.
any ideas where i could find cheaper deals?

you're coming form the UK? just go to spain or something. Most of Baja is good for car camping and surfing. Cabo is kinda beat down unless you're into sammy hagar. Too many gringo tourists and 18 year old wasted kids.
- mayo0
i've only been to Cabo, but I didn't feel in the least bit of danger.
of course, you must tie the orange sash of international camaraderie about your hips.
- clint0
yeah, don't think i'll stay in cabo, just seems to be the place, airport to fly in. or is there a better place to fly to for baja?
we'll probably rent a car and set of and explore.
so are flights to baja coming from spain cheaper?
how would i find out about deals in spain?
i'm living in london and my spanish is very poor.

Go to Puerto Vallarta, or consider the Carribean side, it's much nicer.
- mayo0
It just occured to me that in a situation that's serious, I should probably make disclaimers:
I, mayo, do hereby state that I have no idea if the international symbol of camaraderie is an orange sash tied about one's hips.
- kld0
I didn't mean fly to mexico from spain, just that cabo may not be that special to fly across the world for. But if you're going to explore away from cabo, go for it! Who am I to tell you were to go?
- mayo0
i definitely would not fly across the world for Cabo.
- clint0
thanks kld, yeah spain is cool, i've just been to almeria where they've shot all the good old spaghetti western.
but i'm planning ahead, europe s*cks in winter, that's when i want to set off for some extra portion of sun and summer.

NP clint, It's a great place but if youre loooking for warm places in the winter you may be disapointed. How 'bout Maui.

careful, they eat foreigners. brits are a delicacy.
i kid. mexico's wonderful, been there loads of times. just be as wary as you'd always be in a strange place, i.e. don't venture into secluded places by yourself.
