I have to make a presentation with a video of someone talking with animated flash graphics. Similar to all the presentations on macromedia. Question: Is it better to import the video create the graphics in flash then export as an flv? If anyone one knows that would be a great help thanks.

How sophisticated do you want your actor to be able to interact with the composited graphics?
1) If you need supporting text to sync up with your video.
- Then make sure you encode your video properly so that there is no sync issues with the frame rate. And do your titling/ text in flash.2) If there is some sophistication to the movements and how the actor interacts with the text, then...
- Shoot green screen.
- Composite in After Effects (or any of the other compositing programs)I know this was a cryptic response, and short to boot. But do you understand where I am getting at?

THere wont be too much interaction. What I'm wondering is once i create the video link it in flash then crete the text/graphics in flash should the final output be a flv-a video. This way it may be controlled easier-stopping/starting etc. or should it be an swf? I'm workin on this now but any help is great thanks!

output your video as a .FLV.
Just your video though...
stub.swf - which acts like the video player. This SWF contains an MC that has your text in it.
yourVideo.flv - this gets loaded into the 'stub.swf'.
make sense? I am sure if you looked at the macromedia.com website you are sure to find your answers.
