i know its prob a silly question, but what actually are podcasts and how do dey work on your ipod?! thanks!

You can mix stuff. Use Garageband for Mac or Audacity for PC.

i downloaded the latest version of iTunes and my Poddcast section is blank, do you need your iPod plugged in?

yeah how does it work. i tried to get the milton glaser cast from npr, and i can't figure it out.

find the url of the feed and drop it onto the podacst menu icon in iTunes.

1. Download the latest version of iTunes, download the latest iPod Update Software... Install both.
2. Go to iTunes Music Store, click the PodCast link in the menu on the left.
3. Pick the PodCast's you want, Subscribe to them (they'll appear in your PodCast playlist in iTunes).
4. Plug your iPod in, it'll sync it and download them to it.
5. On your iPod, in the Music menu is a PodCast option (the new software update updates the firmware and adds it).
6. Listen away!

I don't care for some nobody doing a show thinking they're important, which is what Podcasts, like blogs, perpetuate.
However, I did upgrade itunes to download blogs and found that they have these awesome prank phone calls from a station in NYC, Z100. They are awesome. The only reason I would reccomend podcasts. All these pranks that people play on friends, and most of them are Staten Island or Brooklyn Itallian people.
