kona, your claims of alqaida always being in iraq make no sense.
please read a little more.
in particular read the July 4th issue of Time magazine. an article called "Inside the Mind of an Iraqi Suicide Bomber" explains how alqaida eventually arrived in iraq over iraqis are joining them.

(Jul 7 05, 11:21)You can tell who only watches Faux News and who is actually informed.
There have been reports confirmed by Army officials that the torture far exceeds what was in the pictures you're refering to. This includes prisoners tied to the ceiling and beaten (some died from the injuries), electric shock, and other torture. This is throughout many different prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Kona, it's a commonly accepted bit of news that Al Qaeda is supporting insurgencies in Iraq and that insurgent groups in Iraq have pledged allegiance to Al Qaeda. No point in arguing it's fact.
Mimio
(Jul 7 05, 11:33)don't tell that to me. i'm trying to explain that to the other dude.

---will someone please explain that to dahmc. I am not having much luck penetrating the built up years of Hollywood movie propaganda that he regurgitates and claims as "fact".

I love this dahmc kid.
He's like one of those guys in a room where everyone is laughing at him but he thinks so much that everyone is laughing with him that he continues talking until it begins to embarrass the people listening.

dahmc do you just kind of mash together a bunch of stuff you hear and then form a sentence?
Republican
(Jul 7 05, 11:13)-------
Yes.. but the stuff you are referring to are called facts. I know you don't like facts because they kind of get in the way of propaganda.
And by mashing I assume you must mean "form a coherent thought" and that you are not refering to "Mash ups" where DJs take 2 different songs and mix them together. A musical form that has actually been very popular in the UK for awhile. If you do mean that I apologise and I promise to buy you a new red white and blue helmet so you don't hurt yourself anymore.
Asking me that is like asking "do you just put 1 foot infront of the other and call it walking?"
Well... yeah.

it's all america's fault ©

lets drop the "liberal", "conservative" jargon, shall we? And as for "the terrorists", it seems like sooner or later will become "mulsums in general" if we keep this up.

oh, and in case you still think al qaeda went to iraq when the u.s. went in so they could fight the u.s. walking from afghanistan to iraq would be the same as walking a quarter of the way across the united states... but in 130 degree desert. i don't think so.
- Republican20
Also I read earlier that someone was saying this is all the USA's fault! What the hell? What kind of kindergarten logic is that?
Clear

---That's just some liberal who likes to makes any event overseas about America. It's the typical American stereotype at its best.

jesus. i guess i need to spell it out.
what i was hinting at for everyone in the short bus, was that al queda was always there. man. slowtoday.com.
- dahmc0
I would love to hear how that would be "ignorant" based on my referring to the treatment of those who will be brought to justice for their acts today in the UK.
Let's hear exactly how that would be ignorant mimio.

*sight* ok ... let's try again.
The Iraqi POWS (those are the people who were in the human pyramid etc etc.) aren't the people responsible for todays attack. So far it looks like a splinter cell of Al Qaeda is responsible.
Once again. Iraqi POWS DOES NOT equal Al Qaeda. Different people. Pretty easy to understand if you're not legally retarded.

what's the deal! I come back from lunch and this thread turns to a mud throwing contest...
Let's focus on the individuals injured and hurt in this terrible event.

Republican,
It's ignorant for the fact that it's a violation of international law to do so. We're not animals, they are.
