Just wanted to get some feedback on a piece that I am in the middle of.
The "look and feel" of the buttons is still up in the air, and only the "Residential" & "Commercial" sections are up.
Mainly looking for feedback thus far, and please remember, it's only about half done.

i would like the images to stay on screen a bit longer though.

I find the navigation to be pretty confusing. Might be nice to lay things out in a bit more detail instead of using those little + signs. Like, each section could list all of the subsections and maybe the number of photos within each.
I second that idea of keeping the pictures up longer.
I assume you have nothing to do with that logo.

Thanks for the tips thus far.
I'm still working out the menu to some extent. I'm adding scripted animation that makes it appear to be rolling over (kind like an odometer) between the nav and sub-nav. This should give the user a better feeling of place within the nav.
The "+" signs are just temp placeholders. Actual buttons will probably be small rectangles with radiused corners to match the image area.
I'll look into keeping the images up a bit longer. This is just a tough decision. Processors affect this speed a good bit, and since you can pause and FF / RW, I thought maybe the quicker the better.
PS. I actually did the logo, but it was in a serious Advant Garde Alts phase. ;-) I still think it works well for her, though.
Cheers & keep 'em coming.

It's nice, I'm not sure about the avant garde, but I guess it beats hevetica...

Nice work Ivan :)
How about automatically pausing the slideshow when you mouseover the photo?
For example sometimes your looking at the site with other people, and you might 'interact' with the image by pointing to parts of it with the mouse and discussing ..
If you decide to try it don't forget to do:
useHandCursor = false;

solid. i'd like the pics to stay up just a sec longer though.

try aligning their mark to the top of the photos there on the right hand side, might help your composition look a bit more dynamic
- ivan_cook0
thanks all...
for those of you that would like the pics to stay up a bit longer... would a half second more be about right, or a full second?
are the transitions at a good speed?
- Solid0
Transitions are pretty smooth - even on my slow-ass POS :]

not sure about the navigation. one liner is cleaner yet it's hard to go back and forth.
slide show can be slower and also it gets confusing when you are going from one project to the next.
i like the logo but not sure if this works for this particular client since they are arch/interior company.
it looks pretty good though.

Very good, but some problmes:
there is no "back home" button
you can put this on the logo.And... i don't like so much the logo placement., not convincing the balance of the image.
but.. beautiful loader and images.
