What is the name of the font?

It may be a protected font, becuase fonts generally embed automatically, are you gewtting an error or prompt window when you export?

i get a error. the font is a variation of Helvetica

If it's not a customized Helvetica, there's no reason it shouldn't embed. What is the complete text of the error?
- imakedesign0
the font could not be embeded due to restrictions in the font file.. the font must be installed to view or print properly

i am a Indesign Noob, how do i create outlines?

what font management program are you using?
- Typographica0
In Advanced pane of the PDF Export window, what is your subset % set at? Try 100%. This makes it so it will only embed the characters that you used. It might relax then.

the font might be damaged or be a duplicate in your font management program.
maybe you have the font in a protected folder?

many thanks for all the replys..
it is set to 100% and the font is in a unprotected folder.
i might have to just include the headings as images

you can select the text and hit "cmmd + shift + o" to convert to outlines.
that's atleast better than converting to a graphic.

Select your textbox and press apple-shift-o to convert it to outlines.
