http://www.amazon.com/exec/obido…"Malcolm Gladwell, a staff writer for New Yorker Magazine, in The Tipping Point, writes a fascinating study of human behavior patterns, and shows us where the smallest things can trigger an epidemic of change. Though loaded with statistics, the numbers are presented in a way that makes the book read like an exciting novel. Gladwell also gives several examples in history, where one small change in behavior created a bigger change on a national level. He also studies the type of person or group that it takes to make that change."

i thought that the book was more based on basic psychology.
i know i know, most of people out there swear by it. but i think native marketers already has alot of these ideas and thoughts.

one of my favorite books
very interesting, not too heavy of a read either
touches on some interesting social concepts, all the more important in the last 15 years due to the rise of the 'net, and networks......
related book, which references The Tipping Point alot -- Mark Buchanan's "Nexus"

i think these books are more confirmation of what people have been implementing in advertising for years.
"if its in a book, it must be true"
dont get me wrong, i have been quoting from the book to get my point across. but i dont think i have really learned anything new.
i cant wait for him to write a book about language. than i can REALLY push my theorics on natrual language strategy.
