the dealer was saying its a bit of A6, A8 and TT all mashed together.
200hp turbo with like 207lb ft of torque... thing really moves.
def kills the Mercedes B Class and the BMW 1 series.

do it
get it

Drove my mums A3 back in the uk at xmas. She's had so many problems with it and when I drove it, the waterpump froze and messed the whole drive system up. 2000 quid to fix and Audi refused to pay.
Shes had terrible customer service from them and the passenger window still does not go up again if you put lower it, which apparently they fixed 3 times.
All together a bad experience but I think these things are case by case.
Personally, I still think they are good cars, but I was not impressed by Audi UK and their after sales network.I'm BMW for life.!
Here's my car:

nice car Chip
not everyone can afford M3s.. so we must settle for A3.
as for me i cant even afford a Scion
- Chip0
Thanks, Yeah, I'm lucky my wife is well into cars also.!
I'd buy an A3 though, even knowing what I know.
Friend in the office is about to get the s3 version. 3.2 liters in that little car is going to be madness!!!!
- MrDinky0
yes M3 is such a nice car, it has such a power. S3 is a very nice car also. another car that wouldnt be recommend is CLK or SLK. they break down easily. every since, Chrysler took over, MB has been making crappy cars except high end ones such as S-class. Even E class has major electrical problem.

mercedes has turned to crap while chryslers have gotten better-they've had an influence on each other

i have made all my friends jealous by getting an a3 wagon

well the A3 is brand new here in Canada, 2006 model... redesigned from the original euro A3 that came out in 96.
we got it on lease, 4 year so i'm not so worried about repairs as it will be covered by warranty (4yrs). the S3 isn't going to be available in Canada until next year... i can't wait to test drive that bad boy.
so how are you liking yours so far sal?
we did look at the BMW 3 series... too wall street for us, we're an active couple and that car just doesn't fit for us.
- _salisae_0
gazads! i meant a4. sorry. haven't had it that long. yeah idp was telling me he test drove the new a3 and that it is amazing. weird that they went backward with their model number
i am completely in love with it .. it came with an emergency blanket and a bag for skiesdef a smart move to lease it
