I've got TONS of fonts on my mac and I have no clue what most of them are....
anyone know how to check what the fonts look like without installing them into suitcase?
if I did that it would probably take me 3 days and nights. LOL

no matter what tool you use you have to load the font first in order to see it so it's gonna take a lot of time anyways.

Suitcase is your best bet for previewing.. it shouldn't be that big of a hassle.. ?
organize your fonts into folders (by foundry or alphabetical, or style, etc etc) and drop the folder into suitcase 1 at a time.
i've got 1000s and 1000s of fonts loaded in Suitcase.. thats what the app is designed for. dropping a folder of 1000 fonts into your SETS window only takes a couple seconds to load. you can them flip through and activate the ones you want to use (temp or auto).

i have found that fontagent pro has better veiwing options, and doesnt mess up when activating fonts in flashMX.

load you printer with a shit load of paper and print out samples from suitcase. cross off the ones you don't want, then delete them.
